Each tea towel is titled and dated. “The printing is so beautiful both in detail and colour that they really are fine enough to hang on the wall,” Barbara says. “Just iron them well, stretch them out, and pop them in a ready-made frame. You get a lovely print of generous size at reasonable cost.”

“Roses are difficult to photograph. They have so many petals and a single damaged edge can ruin everything. But this one, growing up from a mere tub in a humble front yard in a nondescript London street, with offices and showrooms all around, was just perfect at that moment.”
